Fully Automatic Control:

1.The new color touch screen operator interface is more robust and user friendly. Straightforward colored function keys make controls easier to understand. Less operator training is required. Fewer errors causing delays in production and wasted product will result. Also, the new screens provide data on operating conditions and equipment status. In general the operators will spend significantly less time in front of the control panel, improving labor efficiencies.

2.The new automation includes a recipe menu that now records operating settings for up to 150 products. The benefits to this are a repeatable process for each product regardless of operator, and less waste at start-up due to the automation having correct initial settings vs. operator's trial and error.

3.Simplified on-line overrun calibration available on the new automation provides the operator with a better tool to maintain accurate package weights.

4.Preventative maintenance schedule display screen and alert will ensure timely maintenance of mechanical components. Less unscheduled down time. Display of last fault code for more efficient troubleshooting to minimize down time.

5.Airflow feedback from the air mass flow meter detects if there is a blockage in the overrun line. If airflow deviates from the expected norm the control panel alerts the operator to this condition. This allows faster troubleshooting and minimizes out of specification product.

6.Mimic screen displays a process schematic of the freezer operation. Shows status of pumps, valves and displays process temperatures and pressures.

7.Link with automatic ingredient feeder improves accuracy of added ingredients and can start and stop the ingredient feeder in unison with the freezer.

8.Link with WCB Ice Cream's Central Control Line System that integrates the freezer, ingredient feeder and filler into one cohesive operating system. This system reduces waste on start-up and shutdown of the line, provides higher production efficiencies and management reporting.
