THE HEART OF THE INNOVATIVE VERSA-LINETMCASCADE FLOW SYSTEMS

-- Efficient heat exchange is the key to freezing and defrosting

The VERSA-LINETM offers unique, patented systems for freezing and defrosting. The CASCADE FREEZING SYSTEM applies the cold brine at the top of the mold as many and as long as needed for product design where the product is the thickest, and brine then flows down its exterior. This function is both fast and uniform, same mold with or without each resulting in a freezing rate increase of up to 35 percent. The Cascade Defrost system is more efficient than spray defrost or dip pot systems, permitting “drier” extraction through lower, energy-saving, defrost temperatures. Molds are transported straight through the Cascade Freezing and Defrost Systems eliminating the reinsertion mechanisms, or the need for need for gradual entry and exit.

Resistance to forward motion and mold buoyancy, caused by upward brine circulating pressure, are eliminated with the Cascade principle and less driving force is required.

- The patented Design-on-Surface(DOSTM)System,
an optional accessory for the Versa-Line.
With DOS, molded frozen manufacturers can:

  • Create exciting colors, shapes or combination stick confections
  • With Cascade easily create no-freeze zones;as many and as long as needed for product design
  • Create two distinct product shapes in the same mold with or without each appearing on the frozen confection’s exterior surface
  • Use existing or new molds
  • Eliminates the need for intermediate extraction and Cascade Freezing and Defrost Systems eliminating the reinsertion mechanisms, or the need for exceptionally long freezing sections
  • Add or remove the DOS System at any time without machine modification
