Designed for low volume production and laboratory testing The WCB Ice Cream MF series ice cream freezer processes ice cream mix into the finished product via freezing, mixing and whipping operations. The completely self-contained unit with integrated refrigeration is ready for use once mix, air, power and water connections are completed. It can also be used for scraped surface freezing of non-ice cream products. ※ Operation principle Mix is metered into the freezing cylinder by a positive piston pump. A constant flow of air is fed in simultaneously, and whipped into the mix as it moves through the cylinder. Frozen ice cream is scraped from the cylinder wall by stainless steel blades. A positive displacement pump is used at the outlet of the cylinder. ※ Design principle Freezer housing The standard housing is made of a stainless steel plate, with easily removable stainless steel covers and adjustable legs. Freezing cylinder The freezing cylinder is made of stainless steel, with the inner surface hard-chromium-plated, and polished. The end-covers have bayonet sockets for rapid removal without tools. Refrigeration system The system includes a built-in refrigeration compressor unit, connected to the stainless steel cylinder jacket. The system is designed for R404A refrigerant, with a watercooled condenser. Air system Designed for connections to an external air supply. This is complete with pressure regulator, filter, check valve and pressure gauge. Dasher drive This is powered by V-belts from the main motor. Electronic speed regulation is available on request. Pumps As standard, a piston pump is used for metering the ice cream mix. A special CIP piston is used when cleaning the machine. ※ Control |
