Double-Tube (DT) — Two concentric tubes; product tube inside a media tube for series flow — excels in processing fluids of moderate viscosity with medium to large particulates, or as an efficient direct regenerator
Triple-tube (TT) — Three concentric tubes; media paths inside and outside product path for series flow with greater heat transfer area — ideal for series cooling of products which change viscosity, or as an efficient direct regenerator
Multi-Tube (MT) — Several product tubes within a media tube for parallel flow; large surface area in a small package for thin fluids |

Corrugation: uniform, regular deformation of the HE surface to
increase heat transfer efficiency, which results in less area
required for any application. Sanitary tube corrugation is characterized by more gradual
angles that impart a “twist” or turning motion. This configuration is preferable for semi-viscous materials such as gravies, concentrates or particulate-laden products. Operation is simplicity itself: product flow and heating/cooling media flow are separated in concentric lengths of sanitary tubing; no moving parts, easy to clean. Direct regeneration, where product replaces media, can yield more than 80% energy savings. This not only increases thermal efficiency but eliminates
Multi-Tube (MT) Heat Exchanger product channeling. Thermal efficiency is so improved, in fact, that for typical thin film applications heat transfer area can be cut nearly in half. Applications once considered only possible in scraped-surface HEs (e.g., cheese sauces, puddings, aseptic fruit, tomato) are now successfully processed in THERMALINETM corrugated tubular heat exchangers. |

- New corrugated pattern of product tubes promotes greater turbulence at low velocities. This reduces the amount of surface area required over traditional smooth tubes. Higher turbulence and uniform flow reduces fouling and also benefits cleaning in place.
- Removable models allow for easy replacement and cleaning.
- Durable connections with sanitary design
- Quick disconnect connections, saves maintenance time
|
| |
|
|
|
- Enhanced cleaning efficiency
- Can be used for indirect and/or direct regeneration
- Designed to 3A, #12-07 specifications.
- Computer program sizing for optimum efficiency and performance.
- Single O-ring design, easy to replace , makes alignment and disassembly simple
